The Proto XIV/XV has been inspired by the SHAKA, but the idea was to be make it more like a powder skater than a powder surfer it therefore has a true twin shape and a shorter overall length, plus a wider waist to keep the surface area the same.
It had to perform in powder, both forwards and switch.
For this we developed a new 3BT flavor: TWINPOW 3BT which gives you supreme powder float in a shorter wider package both forwards and switch You can ride the Proto XIV/XV shorter than your normal all mountain/powder board making it great for tight turns, tree runs and a more freestyle approach to powder riding.
